Exodus partners with several agencies and organizations in order to ensure that its clients receive the necessary resources to establish their lives in Indianapolis and become integrated into the community and obtain self-sufficiency. Key collaborations include the following: Exodus is an affiliate of Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM) and Church World Service (CWS) who administer cooperative agreements from the U.S. State Department Bureau of Populations, Refugees and Migration (PRM)and the U.S. Office for Refugee Resettlement (ORR), the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic and the Muslim Alliance of Indiana who provide immigration and other legal assistance as well as legal education to Exodus clients; The Julian Centerwho provides counseling services to victims of traumatic circumstances, safe shelter and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and pre-certified victims of human trafficking as well as clothing and home furnishings from their thrift store; The Immigrant Welcome Center who assists with identifying appropriate community resources and provides ‘natural helpers’ who can aid and mentor persons from their own ethnic communities; The Marion County Public Library who provides space for Exodus’ English Language and Cultural and Employment Orientation classes and assists clients with computer use and application for library cards and promotes literacy amongst the refugee population; The Marion County Health Department who works closely with Exodus and provides essential health screenings, immunizations, medical follow up and health education to newly arrived refugees, certified victims of human trafficking and asylees; Indiana Family & Social Services Administration provides designated case managers to work with refugees, asylees and certified victims of human trafficking and assists them with receiving public benefits such as Medicaid, food stamps and in some situations cash assistance. Additionally, Exodus collaborates with schools, churches, employers, financial institutions, institutions of higher education, volunteers, etc. Some of those organizations include The International Center, Indianapolis Interpreters, The Language Training Center, Raphael Health Center, The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, The African Center, Refugee Collaboration Committee, The Indianapolis Mayor's Office, Indianapolis Chin Community , OBAT Helpers, Indiana University School of Medicine Pediatrics – Children’s Health Research Department , IUPUI School of Social Work, Taylor University, Butler University, The University of Indianapolis, The International Interfaith Initiative, The Indianapolis Episcopal Diocese, The National Office for the Disciples of Christ, The Indiana Department of Education – ESL Division, Perry Township Schools and Washington Township Schools amongst many others.
